3 Principles Of Google
|
|
When online "Use it. Use it. Use it."
Google is our online friend, a tool, a Swiss army knife we carry with us while travelling on the Internet checking out the World Wide Web. Always here to shed some light the moment we think about something and need more information.
And what do we think while online?Say we have a website about "dog grooming" and "...thinking about how to generate income from this site?....."
GENERAL FACT FINDING (TOPIC)
(A) Finding out the "What Is It"
(1) the question above that comes to mind likely has keywords, so try googling "generate income website"
(2) and you see a number of hits with the words "affiliate.." so you try "affiliate programs"
You realise there are many marketeers doing associate or affiliate programs.
(B) Twist And Turn What We Know
(1) are there any established suppliers with affiliate programs that you can link direct?
Try google "walmart affiliate" or "direct link affiliate"
(C) Google For "Alternative/Con/Disadvantage" View
(1) are there any bad affiliate programs to beware?google with keywords "affiliate programs poor terrible s**t" and look at the alternative views returned.
CLOSING IN - FINDING OUT MORE FACTS ABOUT TARGETS SPECIFIED
Say we have decided maybe "Joe Average Petshop" and "Jane Pets Store" may be are good affiliates to work with after looking at their commission program/etc.
(1) But actually are they fair in their business practice? Do they pay on time?
Try google "Joe Average Petshop problems complaint" or add "poor service"
On the internet today there are thousands of forum discussing all and sundry. If something or someone is popular there probably is a forum somewhere out there. So if "Jane Pets Store" has a popular or active affiliate program, there may just be the forum for this and we may read a complaint 'thread' by forum participants.
FOR PRECISE INFORMATION SEEKING - THROW IN THE KEYWORD
(1) The internet is developed by those who love technology and also most used by them today. For example Google has a separate "Google-Linux" tool and huge community there. If we get a technical error say a "..403 Access Forbidden error.." and we do not know what is it - just throw (copy/paste) in the ERROR into google's search box. It's likely we'll get the hits with the answers.
(2) If working on a project about say company "HiProfile Inc" just throw in the COMPANY's name and add adjective to narrow further.
(3) Throw in the CEO's name and see if any announcement or opinions returned.
In practise, the viewing/surfing, fact finding, understanding and deeper(pause) reading or downloading are simultaneous actions with back and forth googling action - quick review/glimpses of article relevance, 'back' action or going deeper with link(s), or opening more window(s).
By the way most people will not exceed 3 pages when 'flipping' google's results.

Is Something Missing From Your Keywords Research? (part 1)
As you may already know, keywords are an essential part of search engine optimization (SEO). And the usual approach recommended to finding the right keywords to target with one's site involves the ideas of demand, supply and KEI (and/or CID). I would like to propose that one thing is missing in this research approach. What is missing is a consequence of one of the major advantages of the Internet. Let me explain . . . When I use the Internet to look for information, or software, . . . I don't care about what country is hosting the site, nor do I care about the nationality of the owner of the site. I am only concerned about finding what I am after. So, for me, when I use the Internet, the fact that the world is made up of countries is not something I think about, nor is it an issue be...(related: Search Engine Optimization)

London Bombings And Number Patterns
Firstly, let me say that I am sure all our thoughts went out to the victims, their families and friends of these bombings, and other incidents where innocent people lose their lives. Secondly, an SEO ezine is not the place to debate the rights and wrongs of such events. However, I would like to use the numbers involved to show you how there are patterns in everything if you have the eyes to see. Where some people hear music and see the chords, we see numbers, patterns and synchronicities. For us this is a major part of SEO work; spotting the trends, analysing how small changes affect page rankings and which keywords are being used to find our pages. As a Maths man, I think Pythagorus may well be considered the father of Western Mathematics. Who can forget the great mantra "The square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum o...(related: Search Engine Optimization)

Search Engine Optimization allows you to achievetop search engine placement and a tap into a new source of qualified visitors who are actively searching for products and services on the Internet.Unfortunately, only 7% of all websites are visible by the search engines according to a recent StatMarket.com study. The reason for this phenomenon is because most web sites are not properly optimized and promoted to achieve highsearch engine ranking...(related: Search Engine Optimization)
